Bottom player is attempting to frame away and get a knee or foot back in the way of the hips or shoulders. Either the knee or the foot works.

Win Condition(s)

If the top player gets to mount, switch top and bottom. If the bottom player gets a knee or foot into the top player’s hip or shoulder, switch top and bottom.

Main Class

1

Reverse Scissor Sweep (Roger Half-Guard Sweep)

  1. Start from a high knee shield half guard.

  2. Work to get double cuff grips on the top sleeve, popping it away.

  3. Pull the sleeve across, like you’re doing an armdrag.

  4. Move knee shield knee into the hip, and stretch out, as you pull the sleeve across.

  5. Sit up, keeping your knee in the hip, and reach for the belt. Go over the shoulder and grab.

  6. Push into your partner with your bottom knee basing, then pull them in to a hit reverse scissor sweep.

  7. Keep the belt grip to attack the back.

2

Chair Sit Backtake with Belt Grip

  1. Maintain the belt connection, and reach through, under the arm, and to the bottom side of the neck.

  2. Bring your knee closest to their head up to their back and step your foot closest to their legs and over and into their hip.

  3. Sit like you’re sitting in a chair. Do not lie in a bed, that’s how you get squished. Sit in a chair and fall to your opposite side to finish the backtake.
