Adults: Armlock Finishes
Warm-up
Connected Game
Player A
Both players start head-to-head, with each having a grip on the hand. From here, you may not disengage or shake off to reset. You must stay in the grip fight and keep at least one connection. From here, you are attempting to get 1 of 3 positions. A collar tie with head positioning, a 2-on-1 Russian tie, or an underhook. Once someone gets to that, reset back to the head-to-head, one grip and one grip.
Player B
Win Condition(s)
Arm Isolation
Player A
Player A is standing and attempting to pass guard and get control of the upper body.
Player B
Player B is attempting to get hands connected around an arm and isolate the arm, meaning it can’t connect to the rest of the body OR wrapping legs around a leg and isolating it from the rest of the body.
Win Condition(s)
If Player A passes, that’s a win, flip top and bottom. If Player B connects and isolates and arm or leg, that’s a win, switch top and bottom.
Spiderweb Position
Player A
Player A is in the spiderweb position. No finishing. Your goal is to separate the hands/break the grip and get the back of their hand against your shoulder or chest.
Player B
Player B is in the spiderweb/armlocking position and must escape. An escape means Player A no longer has your arm between their legs.
Win Condition(s)
If Player A breaks the grip and gets the back of the hand to the shoulder or chest, that’s a win and switch. If Player B escapes, that’s a win and switch.

- Escaping the elbow
We do the following:
- Stop escaping the elbow by controlling the rotation.
- Stop escaping the elbow by locking our legs.
- Prevent the stack with counterweight and leg hooking.
- Prevent the hitchhiker by hooking the arm with our head side arm.
Do the last game again, but with these details in mind.
